Just in case anyone is surfing for how to convert video easily. Say you want to take a someone’s homespun DVD and convert it to FLV for the web flash video, two essentials are Mac the Ripper (for ripping DVD VOB files) and ffmpegx (for converting to FLV or anything else for that matter.) Of course if you use ffmpegx to convert it to DV you can also edit the video in iMovie.
Just thought this would be helpful for anyone who is looking.
